A marathon convention

My daughter had a marathon convention at her school today. Last year, she was the last student in her grade. She hates running. I thought she could run faster, so I was angry with her and made her cry. I was a bad mother. She had practised hard this year. She was not the last student anymore. I am proud of her.

(my entry)
My daughter had a marathon convention at her school today. Last year was the last student in her grade. She hates to run. However, I thought she could run faster. So I was angry with her and made her cry. I was very bad mother. She had practice a lot this year. She was not the last student in her grade anymore. She was the middle student in her grade. I am proud of her.
